Dona Omanoff is a portrait artist, photographer, consultant and digital imaging specialist.

Dona is passionate about using new software tools combined with digital imaging to go beyond the bounds of traditional photography. She is part of a new group of emerging artists that combine fine art painting techniques and materials with traditional photographic methods. Dona has studied with Marilyn Sholin and Jane Conner Ziser - master photographers and artists.

Dona lives in Hobe Sound Florida with her husband and business partner David.

In November 2004 Dona won the "Rookie of the Year" Award from the Professional Photographers' Guild of the Palm Beaches.  In January 2005, the Hobe Sound Chamber of Commerce awarded her the "New Business of the Year" for her leadership in the creation of the Hobe Sound Stroll and Art Walk.

Dona owned the Mars Gallery in Hobe Sound from 2004 to 2007.  In June this year she decided to close her "brick and mortar" retail space and move her gallery online. Mars Gallery Online (www.marsgalleryonline.com) will be available in the fall of 2007.
